Last year I really tried to buy items that I would wear consistently – and I think I did pretty well! I tried to limit my impulse shopping and really think about items before buying. So here are my 4 favorite clothing purchases of 2016 – I wore them on repeat throughout the year!
Old Navy White Jeans
I finally jumped on the white jean bandwagon! Since I don’t wear them all the time I didn’t want to buy an expensive pair – so Old Navy was perfect. I got the Mid-Rise Rockstar Skinny Jean in white for under $30. A great price for something that I wanted to try! But I’m psyched to rock the white jeans again when the weather gets a bit warmer.
Target Jacket
Being from Minnesota I have a massive down North Face jacket I rock when it gets below 20. Living in St Louis that rarely happens, so I finally got a bit lighter jacket from Target. It was 40% off with Cartwheel so it was under $30! The faux fur is super cute (and not cheap looking!) and I have gotten a TON of compliments when wearing this. It is perfect for when the temps are in the 30s – aka most of St Louis winter!
Target Utility Vest
My hands-down favorite clothing purchase of the year is my olive green Mossimo Utility Vest. I had to stop myself from wearing it multiple days a week to work! It is perfect with dresses, skirts, jeans, shorts – basically, everything. I love it so much and even have worn it in the winter over sweaters. I’m addicted!
Lush Olive Tunic
I own 4 of these tunics, and olive was my latest purchase at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last summer (I think olive was my 2016 color of the year). It’s so cute with jeans and a scarf – or you can dress it up with a statement necklace. You can’t go wrong with any of these tunics! It is $42 full price, which is definitely worth it for how often I wear it, but I was able to get it on sale – so wait if you can!
