Now that we’re into the middle of February I feel like Spring is right around the corner! I know it’s over a month until Spring technically starts and there is still plenty of time for snow and cold. I’ve known many March and April snowstorms in Minnesota! But I can’t help thinking about warmer weather and wearing lighter clothes.
Luckily we’ve been getting a few days of warmth in St Louis and it’s been so fun to wear lighter colors and not have to wear a massive jacket all the time. I wanted to feature a TON of new arrivals for Spring – this carousel has dozens of items! (I went a little overboard….) I also wanted to select 5 pieces I think you should have in your closet for Spring and why. Plus everything is under $100!
Cute shoes
Cute shoes are needed for every season of the year, but it’s fun to get some new shoes for this warmer weather! Plus shoes you get now can be worn into summer – aka super versatile!
- You can’t go wrong with a great pair of wedges. I just bought these because I’ve worn my older wedges so much they are falling apart! These are hands-down the most popular pair every year.
- I’ve fully bought into the cute sneakers trend and am loving it. So if you don’t have a cute pair of sneakers now’s the time! Get a pair in blush (I have them this pair in black and LOVE THEM! They are so comfy) or white and rock them all spring and summer.
- Slip ons are also a great shoe for spring and summer. You can wear them with jeans, shorts, dresses – aka super versatile.
Off the Shoulder Top
Your shoulders are hidden in the winter but bring them out in spring and summer! Off the shoulder tops are all over the place (they definitely exploded last year) and they aren’t going anywhere. There are SO many good choices!!

- Or you can rock a cold shoulder top if you don’t want to go for complete OTS!
Plus you can layer them with a jean jacket or utility jacket for those in-between temps!
Light Sweater
I love big sweaters for winter (who doesn’t!) but it’s great to have some lighter sweaters for spring. You can layer them with jeans, over a chambray dress, or with shorts when it’s warm.

Light Jacket
I bought a utility jacket last year and it was such a perfect purchase for spring. Utility green is one of my current favorite colors (I’m wearing a green sweater from Nordstrom as I type this!!) and it’s perfect for Spring. If you don’t have a great jean jacket you should definitely get one for Spring – I wear mine all. the. time. I’m thinking that camo might be a fun update for this year!
Cute Dress
Spring is a perfect time to get a lighter dress that you can wear in the summer (Without a jacket!) and add a sweater or jacket to while it’s still a bit cooler.
