Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a great week and are enjoying the first few days of March. It’s insane how it’s March already…….time is FLYING. Today I wanted to share some items I just purchased and other items that are on my current wishlist for Spring.
Just Purchased
Cute Earrings
I have a hard time wearing any earrings besides my favorite Nordstrom studs. But I’ve been eyeing this and this from Baublebar for a few months and I just got them in light pink! I can’t wait to wear them for spring. I think the light pink will be so cute with all my black/white outfits! More color options and cute earrings for spring are here —
Target Shirts
I got three shirts at Target that I can’t wait to wear! Two are plain T-Shirts and I love them because they’re LONG – so I got them in black and grey! Aka they cover my butt in back. I love longer T-Shirts and these ones are so soft too. I also got a light sweater that will be a perfect spring layer. It’s white and grey stripes and I had to get it in a Large (only size left!) so I’m definitely going oversized with it.
Free People Tops
After seeing SO many things about this top on Instagram and other blogs I finally took the plunge and bought this Free People swingy top! Guys it’s so soft! I also love how long the sleeves are — I rarely have long sleeve shirts that are the right length, and these are perfect. I got black in store and just bought the silver color online! It’s on sale and there aren’t a ton of sizes left so check it out! Apparently you need to literally hand wash it (in the sink, no machine) or else it will fall apart, so be sure to follow the care label exactly.
I also picked up this adorable peplum top. I got it in lavender and it is the prettiest soft color! Of course when I was checking out in the store I saw it in black and wanted to change my mind – but I’m trying to wear more color so I stuck with the lavender. It’s so flattering and I honestly love how much fabric there is. It’s definitely a bit bulky, but I think it’s cute!
On My List
Distressed Jeans
I’ve been hunting for the perfect pair of distressed jeans for almost a year….I know that sounds odd, but I can’t find anything that I love! My legs are super long so my knees don’t fit in knee holes so jeans can look SUPER weird. I.E. the “knee holes” shown on models/bloggers/people on Pinterest are mid thigh on me – which is not a cute look. Or pairs of jeans are too distressed aka just pieces of fabric. I also don’t want to spend $200 on jeans I can’t wear to work or dress up. So the hunt continues – and here are some I have my eyes on!
- I love black denim, and maybe a distressed pair would be cute!
- Maybe I should try a boyfriend fit? Might be more flattering than skinny jeans!
- I like how these are distressed but don’t have massive holes.
Spring Scarves
I have tons of patterned scarves but right now all I want is solid colors! I really want some lighter colors that I could wear with spring outfits – think camel or light grey. I’ve got a ton of options below!
New Purse
I have a purse addiction – I love them so much! – and I love it even more when they’re affordable! Old Navy has been really rocking the purse game the past few years. I’ve purchased a few bags that I use all the time – and get a lot of compliments on them. I love this tote and I love this crossbody. Unfortunately they’re not available in stores near me so I’m going to have to buy online and wait! Shop all my purse picks in the carousel below —
