My birthday is next week (yippee!) and I’m currently brainstorming fun things to do all day! I’m going to take advantage of the full day since I’m not working right now. I’ve never taken my birthday off so unless it was a weekend it was just another day! I just scheduled a haircut which will be nice – I haven’t cut it since August so it’s definitely time.
I hope I’ll be eating ice cream cake – birthday requirement – and that the weather is nice enough to be outside. Fun lunch, fun walk, maybe a fun dinner? I would love to go to the Minnesota Arboretum and walk around if it’s not too muddy!
Today I wanted to throw together a fun collage with things I would love to get for my birthday. Some are more realistic gifts than others 🙂 Definitely dreaming on the Givenchy purse but I would obviously love to get it if it magically appeared or I won the lottery 😉
Fun Jewelry
I bought some Baublebar Crispin drops a few weeks ago and have worn them a ton! I would love them in another color (like white?) but I also love this fluffier version. Apparently the Mykonos drops are so light you don’t even feel them! Plus tassels are always a cute option!
Also this David Yurman bracelet is so timeless and perfect to wear all.the.time.
Moto Jacket
This Blanknyc Jacket has been everywhere since fall and I want it so badly! I think it would be great for fall or spring and perfect for those in-between temps. I love it in the coffee color, but it comes in so many other shades.
Purses
Only one purse is in the land of reality – this beautiful Madewell tote! It would be perfect for work or traveling. Plus I’m sure the leather looks better the more you use it! The other 2 purses are not realistic at all but I would go buy one (or both!) if I won the lottery tomorrow. The Givenchy bag is timeless and you can wear it with everything. I’ve never met a black bag I didn’t like! This Gucci bag has been all over Instagram and the white is so fun for Spring and Summer. It’s smaller so not good for carrying a ton of stuff, but it would be perfect for fun events – definitely a dream bag.
Off the Shoulder Tops and Dresses
Off the shoulder (OTS) is here to stay! There are so many options right now it’s insane! I love this one-shoulder top from LOFT because of the cute poms! The OTS top is so cute because of it’s detailed top. I absolutely love love both of the OTS dresses showing above – one from LOFT and one from Nordstrom. Both would be so cute for Easter or for Graduation! Or just a cute dress to wear with a utility or jean jacket until it gets warmer 🙂
It’s fun to put together lists like this but I’m honestly most excited to be able to hang with my family on my birthday. I have a whole day to enjoy and I can’t wait for it! Also TGIF – I hope you have a great weekend!
