Florals are obviously appropriate for Spring, and this darker shirt is totally my style! I’m not a huge pattern girl and I don’t gravitate to darker colors. I would wear black all year! (More on that below…) Thanks to my mom for letting me borrow her top for these photos – she has awesome style and coming home means I get to borrow her clothes! If only we were the same size in shoes….Speaking of which, I know I’m wearing these wedges all the time but they are so comfy and perfect for Spring! And at only $60 they’re hard to not recommend!
Since today is my 26th birthday so I wanted to share 26 random things about me! Here you are, in no particular order –
- I love ice cream cake and that is always what I want for my birthday
- I will eat ice cream cake at any meal!!
- I love cold & winter is my favorite season
- I have 11 nieces & nephews
- I have a minor in Museum Studies and love all things museology!
- I am addicted to my Happy Planner
- I love pens and stickers (to decorate my planner of course)
- I am also addicted to my Yeti (more on that here!)
- I am still best friends with my friends from high school
- My husband and I have been together for almost 10 years
- My favorite lunch food is a sandwich
- I love steak and a great filet would be my favorite dinner!
- I basically wear solid colors (you’ve probably noticed)
- I think I’m pretty good at small talk and I would rather walk into a room of strangers than a room of people I semi-know
- If I get embarrassed my face turns BRIGHT tomato red
- My mom and I decided to give me highlights when I was 12 – bad idea – I had to have my hair fixed a few days later
- I love Northern Minnesota & Wisconsin and going “up north”
- I spent one summer being a professional grocery shopper
- If I only could shop at one store for the rest of my life it would be Nordstrom – obsessed!
- I have a Masters in History (Really little known fact!)
- My nickname at work was Helen Wheels
- I love going for walks or runs
- I have a real coffee addiction – Starbucks Americanos are my favorite
- I used to do competitive Trampoline
- I wrote a newspaper called “The Updater” and circulated it among family and friends – guess a precursor to this blog!
- I also started a cobbler “club” where I would make them and give them to people
