I can’t believe that Easter is almost here! Basically I can’t believe it’s April. Where is the year going? I am definitely loving the warmer temps that are happening in Minnesota – it’s supposed to be 70 tomorrow! Hopefully that will make things turn more green and less brown – kinda hard to take pictures outside with these dull backgrounds. I am missing the pretty flowering trees in Kentucky and Missouri right about now – didn’t think I would ever say that!
Today I wanted to share a dress I got last year for Easter that I am going to wear again this year! This white lace dress is so girly and fun to wear. I wanted to share two ways to style it that can work for a traditional or casual Easter. The first look pairs it with a simple J. Crew cardigan in a fun cobalt and my favorite pink earrings. I added an affordable pink purse from Old Navy and my go-to wedges!
The second look is more casual and something you could wear to any spring or summer events! This dress is so cute with the jean jacket so I need to find a place to wear it! I still have my favorite wedges and instead used a brown leather purse to coordinate the accessories. The purse is an older bag from Coach but this and this are similar.
Look 1: Sweater // Dress // Earrings // Purse // Shoes
Look 2: Jean Jacket // Dress // Similar Purse // Shoes // Sunglasses
I also love this lace dress because it would be perfect for wedding events for all those spring and summer brides! I really wish I had found this dress before my wedding – it would have been so fun for a bridal shower or the rehearsal dinner. I will note that I had my grandma add a lining to the bottom because the included liner was SUPER short (aka mid thigh) so I wanted it lengthened. Thanks grandma 🙂
Keep scrolling to find a carousel with some more Easter options if you don’t want to wear white or just want more ideas! I really love this blue cut-out dress and this midi dress is so versatile. I can’t rock yellow with my skin tone but if you can get this dress – such fun sleeves! I can’t wait to be able to wear dresses and skirts in warm temps again!
