I hope the temps are warming up where you are and that you’re enjoying Spring! Flowering trees, flowers, green, fresh cut grass – I love it all! Well minus my insane allergies but there’s nothing to do about that. Today I wanted to share my picks for Shoes you should have in your closet for warmer temps – if you’ve been around a bit you’ve seen me wear my Steve Madden wedges so much! Aka here and here …
I am breaking down this post into three categories – work, weekends, and special occasions or fun! Now that it’s warmer you can break out fun shoes in every setting – even in the office.
Work
I know some women who can rock 4 inch heels everyday. Well I am not that good at wearing heels and my feet die with all the walking! But that doesn’t mean you have to wear flats all the time (although I did find some cute ones like these!) or ugly heels. There are great options to freshen up your shoes for spring and have cute work options! I love these nude wedges and this Cole Haan pair is cute but not too high!
Weekends
Weekends are when you want something super cute AND super comfy. No one wants to be shopping with friends or exploring a farmers market and getting horrible blisters. Plus you also need some fun shoes for outdoor concerts, dates, or wedding events on those weekend nights!
For brunch or a farmers market I love espadrilles – they are comfy but cute! These from Soludos are super cute as are these Sole Society ones. If you want super cute you could spring for these Flamingo shoes! All these could be paired with jeans, dresses, or shorts when the temps warm up. You could also rock a pair of cut-out booties for Spring!
Fun
Spring and summer are perfect time for bachelorette parties, weddings, or just fun nights outside! I have a shoe addiction – I’ll admit it – and I’m loving the following shoes for special events!
How fun are these strappy heels? They come in so many colors and would be so cute for a night out. Cutout heels were all the rage last year and they aren’t going away – this pair and this pair are great picks. I don’t know where I would wear these Madewell flats but the pom pom is super cute! Bows are a big trend for spring and summer and this Sam Edelman pair is a great way to rock that trend.
Also if you haven’t gotten on the fun sneakers bandwagon now is a great time! I wear my Nike Theas all the time and you can definitely get some fun colored sneakers for spring and summer. They’re great for days exploring or running errands! I love how they are supportive yet cute – way better than wearing flip flops. I love this pink pair and this pair of Sperrys! (Yes they make tennis shoes now!
I’m trying to resist buying a ton of the pairs above but we will see how long that lasts! I don’t have any weddings to go to so that means I really don’t have a good excuse to buy new shoes. I do have a graduation to attend in May, so maybe that will justify some new shoes 😉
