As you’ve probably noticed, I don’t wear a ton of super bright colors or patterns. I gravitate towards dark (navy, black) and solids. I probably have less than 10 items in my closet that are a pattern! Well imagine my surprise when I discovered this Lilly Pulitzer skirt a few years ago in a drawer. I have NO idea what possessed me to buy it, but it’s perfect for summer!

This might sound odd, but living in the South I see a LOT more color. I’m definitely going to need to buy some more colorful clothes to not look doom & gloom all the time! Don’t worry, black and navy will still be my go-to colors – but I’ll try to branch out a bit 😉
