A few weeks ago my husband and I ventured to a cute spot for dinner – Windy Corner Market. It’s out in the middle of horse farms northeast of Lexington and it’s worth the drive!
For us it was only 20 minutes and it was SO SO scenic. The drive out to the restaurant is the most picturesque horse country. Rolling hills, stone fences, you name it! I think we’ll have to bring visitors here because it shows the KY countryside so well. And we had a delicious dinner too! The weather was fantastic and we were able to sit outside.
We started with the artichoke fritters – delicious! I mean how could deep fried, breaded artichokes be bad? I had the chicken finger basket (it’s an adult entree, I promise!) and my husband had the burger. Both hit the spot! I’ve heard they have a great brunch so we might need to try that next time.
The day we went I had just received a big order from Nordstrom and decided to wear this top. It’s the right amount of peplum without overwhelming your figure. When I first took it out of the box I thought it might be too much – but putting it on convinced me to keep it. I think it would be so cute with a sweater or jean jacket for the fall! Plus it comes in three colors – I just ordered the light blue!
So if you’re on the fence, buy it! (I keep seeing this top all over Instagram, so you might have seen it too) I’m even going to wear it to work – cardigan, work pants – a new outfit! I apologize in advance for over-wearing this….you’ve been warned!
