If you’ve been on Instagram at all recently you’ve probably seen posts talking about a BIG sale coming up – the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! It really is one of the best sales of the year and the hype is real. It’s a great time to stock up on essentials and get some new pieces for fall.
The sale starts tonight at midnight for Nordstrom Credit/Debit/Reward cardholders (100% worth it! We have the debit and it’s a great way to earn rewards). If I’m being totally honest, the best finds will most likely sell out before the sale goes to the general public. That first week is when you can get the best items! Plus with free shipping and returns you can order whatever you want and return what doesn’t work – for free. So check out the catalog to plan your attack – it features a lot of the items but not everything.
So in order to help show how awesome this sale is I wanted to highlight some pieces I got in the 2016 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
Essentials
This long cardigan is a great work essential. I wore it so much this past year (see this post above!) and I might get another color. It’s lightweight and the perfect length.
These tunics are the best – I have them in four colors! Olive, red, black, and white….what should I add this year? They’re so versatile for work and for weekends and you can style them SO many ways. I got another pair of my Paige jeans last year. It’s great when your favorite jeans go on sale! I can’t find the wash I got last year but this is the right cut, just a black version.
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is also a great time to stock up on my favorite skincare from Kiehl’s. Face wash, lotion, eye cream – all amazing! I talked about my skincare routine in this post if you’re interested!
Just For Fun
I got these leather leggings at the sale last year and they are definitely NOT an essential – but sure fun to wear!
One of the pieces I wore way more than I expected was an oversized, cowl neck sweater. It’s so cozy and not too oversized! It’s not online anymore but this sweater is similar.
