I love the ruffle sleeves on this shirt and it looks so cute with jean shorts! Basic shorts go great with a top with detail like this one. The fabric is light and easy to throw on! This would be so fun for a casual dinner out or a weekend around town.

I LOVE wearing this top with jeans and boots! Of course I’m wearing my new favorite jeans from Madewell – they are the most comfortable pair of skinny jeans I’ve ever owned. I highly recommend them and am already considering getting another wash. I added another item from the Anniversary Sale – these Hinge booties! I featured them in an earlier post of what I was buying and they are a MUST buy. I would probably recommend a black pair of boots for your first pair, but these brown ones are a perfect second pair.

This top is great for work because it’s an easy blouse to wear – but it’s not boring! Add a pencil skirt and you’re good to go. I really think you could wear this outfit all year long. The pattern of the top is so neutral (does it get more neutral than black and white??) and you could wear it with a skirt or dress pants.
I hope this post shows how you can take one piece and style it multiple ways – and at a super affordable price! You don’t have to only wear ruffled tops at special occasions – they can be styled with shorts or jeans. Don’t be afraid to wear statement pieces – and you definitely can’t be judged for buying this top at such a great price.
