Last year I eyed this suede moto jacket for months. I even tried it on when my mom bought it and considered buying it immediately after! For some reason (I don’t even remember why…) I didn’t order it and definitely regretted waiting. Well my husband heard me talk about the jacket all the time and bought it for me for my birthday! I had some time to wear it in the Spring – it stays pretty cool in MN – and I am so happy to be able to take it out for fall.
The price is a bit pricey but it’s definitely an outfit maker. Take jeans, a t-shirt, add this jacket, and you’ve instantly got a winning combination. Take a basic dress – like this one! – add the moto jacket, and you’re ready to go out! I foresee wearing it sooo much the next few months, so I apologize in advance if it eats up my Instagram feed.
As you can probably tell, I’m not one for patterns or unusual styles. I stick to basics and I re-wear things I love over, over, and over again. It’s hard to buy things that might not fit my “style” and I honestly have SO many similar pieces in my closet. So I love when I can add items – like this jacket! – that are unique and add a different look.
I already have a jean jacket I love, a great utility jacket, so I feel like this moto jacket completes the fall outerwear side of my wardrobe. I love it so so much and I SO happy that my husband got it for me 🙂 Gifting success!
One sizing note – it does stretch with wear so I would pick whatever size is snug right away. I got a small and it was tight to start but has loosened to a perfect fit. If I would have picked a medium it would probably be too big now. The Nordstrom salesperson mentioned this when picking a size – so it’s just something to be aware of when choosing!
