Christmas is in ONE WEEK! I’m so excited to go home and see SNOW! Bring on the cold!!
Apparently we might get a snowstorm in KY this weekend – praying it doesn’t impact any travel plans. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
Ok back to today’s post – my Christmas day outfit! Family members, sorry to be spoiling what I’m going to wear. Not that you wait for it anyways….so yeah. I have been loving oversized pullovers this year and statement earrings. So this Christmas I’m going to be wearing both! For Christmas Day I’ll probably wear the dress I featured here – it’s warm and cute. If you can’t tell, warmth is important for Christmas in Minnesota.

We keep it pretty casual on Christmas day so I figured a big sweater would be perfect. I picked up this sweater from H&M and love it because it’s under $20 and comes in multiple colors. I almost got the red but it wasn’t the “right” red for my skintone. It just brought out the red in my skin – so pass. The white is great for winter and means I can wear it beyond Christmas day.
Also how fun are these earrings? They were only $12 and are such a bold piece. They’re also super light – a must for statement earrings! Plus I can get in a bit of red and be festive without having too much bright color. As much as I try to wear brights I just am more comfortable in neutral colors – and I’m ok with it!
And of course to complete my Christmas Day outfit – my faux leather leggings. Comfy, warm, and SUPER flattering. I talked about how to style them in this post so check it out if you want more options! I wore jeans when taking these photos but I do plan on wearing leggings on Christmas Day!
