It’s finally here – Christmas weekend! We have a half day at work and then a Christmas party, and then my husband and I are celebrating tonight. We figured it didn’t make sense to bring presents back home, so we’re going to open them before we leave!
Some of his presents are wrapped in boxes that are WAY too large – so they look more impressive than they are 🙂 Hopefully he likes everything! We’re going to make our favorite pizza – pesto with dough from Trader Joe’s! – and hang before he goes into work. And I’m sure I will have some last minute packing to get done.
These next 10 days will probably be slower on the blog and on Instagram/Pinterest than normal. I’ve got some scheduled posts I’ve already written that will get published, but it’s definitely not a full schedule. I also can’t promise I’ll post on Instagram 2x a day like I normally do – it honestly takes a lot of time to plan out posts! So I’ve decided I’m not going to waste time with my family and friends by thinking about the blog, and I’m sure you guys will understand!
After Christmas we’re going to a resort in Northern MN with my siblings and I’m SO excited!!! Unfortunately my husband has to go back to KY for work, but at least he gets Christmas off. Some other residents got a random week in December off – not very helpful – so we are definitely lucky the ER makes time off AT Christmas a priority.
