…Cause I’m ready for falling temps!
I picked up this jacket on sale at Abercrombie in June (maybe?) and have been waiting for when I can wear it. So I’m probably pushing it with the shorts and top, but I need a jacket in the intense AC sometimes!
Plus I just feel a bit too exposed when I just have a shirt and shorts – I’m a layering person. Maybe that’s why I love colder temps! Plus it’s hard to wear the same shirt over and over again and not get bored. So enter a jacket like this!

I’ve worn my basic utility jacket SO much since I purchased it, and I’ve written a lot about my recent love of camo. So this jacket is the best of both worlds! Cute enough to wear to work or a date night, but not bulky or boxy.
I feel like I’m going to be wearing this jacket so much in the fall and the spring. It would be perfect over a black dress or with my favorite Madewell jeans. Or with a cute graphic t-shirt tailgating your favorite team!
Today was my first day back to the grind after going home on Wednesday – it was sure nice to spend a few days up in Minnesota. I’m exhausted from everything that went on but loved it so much! I can’t say I loved having 100+ emails from one day out of the office (makes me a bit nervous for the 7 days I’m taking off in September…) but it was definitely worth it. Taking even a day off makes me refreshed – I can’t imagine what a week will do.
