Happy Friday everyone!
Wanted to shake it up today and do another Friday five. So just sharing some random things that are on my radar now – random but fun I hope!
I’ve been seeing a lot of tortoise earrings for fall, and I’m eyeing a bunch of options! I love all these pairs – one, two, three, four, five.
Have any of you guys tried magnetic eyelashes? They sound hard to apply but amazing once you get the hang of it. I never wear false eyelashes – duh! – but I have some coworkers with lash extensions and they look amazing. So magnetic lashes would be fun for special events. I’ve heard these are the best!
I’ve been on a soup kick and have made a ton of Pinch of Yum’s soups and freezer meals. My husband and I LOVED this potato soup – be sure to make the no-knead bread with it (pictured above!). I also just made the Lentil Soup for lunch this week and we have also loved the Beef Ragu. Next up is the wild rice soup! (PSA Kroger has real wild rice – not a blend).
Last year I got a pair of mules from Target that were Gucci dupes – I tricked so many of my coworkers into thinking they were real. Well I’ve worn them constantly so they’re starting to show their wear (I mean they were only $20) so I’m looking at some other backup pairs. I love this brown pair and this black pair!
I ran out of foundation a few weeks ago and need to restock before all my fall events. I might just get my classic Laura Mercier but maybe I’ll try something new. Do you guys have any foundations you love?? I would prefer a matte (maaaaaybe natural finish) and pretty full coverage. I’ve heard great things about Nars and Hourglass.
My husband is working tomorrow and then we’re taking Christmas card photos on Sunday – YAY. I’m so excited to have professional photos taken, selfies and photos at events (which are always dark….) just don’t always cut it. So I’m excited to have some quality photos that can remind us of this fun time in our marriage. I hope you guys have a great weekend!
