I may or may not have placed a 20 dress order before my baby shower in a panic…..whoops! But I did find this super cute dress that I wore for a Christmas party last night and I’m planning on wearing for Christmas Eve.

I think the most flattering outfits for me are either super fitted (bodycon, tank tops), or dresses that accentuate above the bump. Shapeless dresses or shifts just make it less obvious that I’m pregnant, but you can tell something is up because they just don’t fit right. (Maybe that’s just me!)
I love this dress because it could work in any season and for any event. Black dresses are so versatile like that – just add different accessories and you have a totally different look. Plus you don’t have to worry about being too trendy and going out of style!
It’s so fun to get dressed up and go to festive events – I just love this time of year. I don’t want to get this dressed up everyday, but I love special occasions. Plus there’s something about a fun outfit, Christmas ambiance, and friends and family.
So what do you think – do you love getting dolled up or would you prefer a more casual event? I mean I love both but nothing beats getting dressed up every once and a while!
