Reflecting on 2018

How are we at the end of 2018? Just when I thought time couldn’t speed up, 2018 flew by.

This year we were extremely blessed to have great jobs, great friends, and start expanding our family. It’s remarkable to look back and see all the ways God provided this year. Obviously there are bad/tiring/negative days and moments, but overall it was a fantastic year and we have been genuinely happy.

My husband and I have talked often this year about how happy we are. We love our house, Lexington, our jobs, and our daily lives. It’s funny how a change of scenery can make such a difference in your life! That level of content has allowed us to have a truly great year.

I wanted to link back to some of my favorite posts from the year….in no particular order!

There were obviously a lot of other posts throughout the year, and I’m sure there are others I loved that I totally forgot. I still love creating content and I hope you enjoy reading it! I love this creative space and the opportunity it affords me to write and express myself.

I hope you can look back on 2018 and see great moments. “Having” to write a post to recap has been a good way to reflect – but if you aren’t writing a blog, it’s still good to take time to pause before we move ahead. I’m not a NYE partier (especially not while pregnant) so we won’t be doing anything – and my husband works at 6 AM on New Years Day – but I know we will reflect on how amazing 2018 has been. I hope you can do the same.

See you back here in 2019!
