Ok the temps have heated up here in Kentucky and it feels like summer!
I would have liked a more gradual Spring, but it is what it is! I love those moderate 50/60 degree days, so I’m not loving the surprise 80s 🙂 I’m probably alone in that but my love for cold is hopefully not a surprise to long time blog readers!
Anyways, since it’s warming up it’s time for those summer accessories. Think lighter earrings, hats, and bags. I have a few summer accessories I wear all the time – like this hat and a small purse, as well as these espadrilles. Since I wear very similar things all year – neutral dresses, tops and jeans – accessories really change an outfit. So I wanted to round up some accessories today and share some favorite picks!
I love these scallop earrings – I’ve been trying to snag them for weeks. They kept going in and out of stock before I could complete my order! This Baublebar version is virtually the same but a bit pricier if you don’t want to wait for the Target version. I also love these light raffia ones – super cute!
Straw bags are a must for summer – I love this super affordable one from Walmart! This bag is much pricier but it’s so cute.
I’m all about face sun protection, so cute hats are an essential if I’m outside. I got this hat last year and wore it all the time! I’m even considering the lilac version – adorable!
That reminds me – the BEST accessory for spring and summer is sunscreen! This is what I wear on my face daily, and this Neutrogena is my favorite body sunscreen. I want to try this spray version this year since I’ll be out for daily walks with the little miss!
