Today’s reality – nursing friendly dresses!

Once it got warmer, I realized none of my favorite dresses would work for my life today – aka nursing!

I don’t mind wearing something impractical (for nursing) if I’m out at an event, but I do love wearing dresses in the summer. I would much rather wear a dress than shorts – even more so now! So that required some shopping for this new phase in my life.

I wanted to share this nursing friendly dress, and I’ve rounded up a ton more options in the carousel below. I especially love this dress from Old Navy!

Dress: J.Crew Eyelet Wrap Dress // Hat: Brixton Joanna – I love it in lilac too! // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban Black Aviators // Shoes: Sole Society Espadrilles

I am so happy that this dress fits and is cute! It comes in white and a light blue also. I tried white but I’m more of a navy girl, let’s be real. I can already think of a few occasions I can wear it to – so sorry if you see it on repeat over on the gram.

The eyelet is super cute and the wrap means you can make it as fitted as you want. It’s also a flattering midi length and is lined until 6 inches up the hem. I added a slip because it’s a bit low cut for my taste, but it’s definitely ok without one!

Also, this hat is essential for another postpartum reality – hair loss. Guys it’s SO SO bad. I’m going to have to start curling my hair after I wash it to add some more volume than my naturally-straight hair has. I usually rely on high ponytails or buns for dirty hair, but those are not so cute when you’re losing tons of hair at your temples. I know it’s only a phase but it’s pretty darn comical. So it’s time for allllll the cute hats over here!

We’re living up the first week of summer over here – and my husband is back to his normal work “schedule.” YAY! This is his last month of 21 shifts and then he drops to 17 SHIFTS A MONTH! I can’t wait for July to come around 🙂 Well I hope you have a fantastic Monday and see you back here Friday!
