Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Try On & Review!

Ok so after waiting a week and a half I finally got most of my Nordstrom order! I wanted to share what I could ASAP so you guys can see what I like and don’t. And more importantly what I’m keeping and what I’m not. If you want more information on the Sale, check out this post. But let’s get to it:

Topshop Sweatshirt & Joggers – might exchange for a bigger size. I wanted them to sit a bit lower on my hips so I need a large, not a medium. I also didn’t realize the sweatshirt was cropped! But they are VERY soft and super super cute. VERDICT: Might exchange.

Topshop Sweater – I SO wanted to love this, but it’s just too boxy. I have a cream sweater that’s almost identical – and I don’t wear it very often because it’s so shapeless. I want to love it, but I don’t, so it’s going back. VERDICT: Returned.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Set – It’s such a great nude and I love having a liner, lipstick and gloss! I’ve worn it a few times since getting it so I’ll definitely be keeping. VERDICT: Keeping!

Nordstrom Cashmere Ruana – it’s so so soft and timeless. I can see myself wearing this allll the time in the fall and winter. It would be especially perfect for traveling too. VERDICT: Keeping!

Free People Tunic – I am SO bummed about this. I was so excited about this tunic but it’s just not oversized enough. I had to buy a small instead of a medium and it’s a bit too short for it to be a tunic. I will be watching to see if a medium comes back in stock. VERDICT: Trying to get a medium

Topshop Mock Neck Sweatshirt – am I a jockey? Hockey player? This was so bad. Just buy a big sweatshirt from Hanes and call it a day. VERDICT: Definitely returning.

So this year was sadly a mixed bag! I really wanted to love these pieces and struck out more than once. Oh well, better for the budget I guess!
