Random Wednesday Thoughts

Hi friends! Long time no post!

Life has been busy around here and blogging has just fallen to the lowest rung on my priority list. Between traveling, getting back to reality, working, and spending time doing fun things, I haven’t had much time for this little space of mine. BUT I want to get back into it so today’s post is random, but I hope to get back to more “normal” content in the next few weeks.

I’m living by a new motto – only replacing beauty and cleaning products when I RUN OUT. It’s tough because beauty and household items are my biggest impulse buys…but I have soooo much stuff. Don’t worry, I have a running list of products I want to try next – like this Vitamin C (so affordable!) and this serum. I can’t use retinol because I’m breastfeeding, so I’ve been searching for alternatives to try. I will post back with reviews once I try them, don’t worry.

I placed a huge H&M order for some upcoming events we have – all baby clothes! I’ll share them when I get them but I’m so excited for adorable fall overalls and cute long sleeved onesies 🙂 I mean this skirt is just beyond cute!

Lately I’ve decided to plan more fun events for myself and baby girl. I shared more about my thinking in this Instagram post, but I’m just not going to wait around for fun when we can go do it! So we’re going to find a zero depth pool. Go to more library story times. FINALLY book a tour at a horse farm after talking about it for 2.5 years. Now that she’s 6 months I feel like we can do more together, and even running errands is more fun. She can sit in shopping carts which makes shopping more fun – assuming they have good straps, thank you Costco! I’ve been planning out our activities during the week and it makes it easier to have items to look forward to, and then we’re not just killing time at home all day. If you have any ideas of fun things to do with a 6 month old, let me know in the comments!

I haven’t purchased many new clothes lately but I’ve got some content on the horizon with oldies but goodies. I’m realizing more and more that my tried and true pieces are the ones I want to share on here. So there might be some items you’ve seen before, but that’s because I love them *that* much. I’m eyeing sites like Everlane because they have great, classic pieces. I love these loafers and these straight jeans. Definitely got a list of Everlane pieces running!

Ok – this definitely lived up to the random post title. I hope you have a fabulous Wednesday and I’ll see you back here soon!
