I cannot believe that I’ve started Christmas shopping already! Thanksgiving is next week and it’s probably tied with Christmas as my favorite holiday, so I’m soaking up all that goodness before I move to all Christmas all the time.
Ok so it’s really hard to not go overboard with gifts. I love getting gifts (just being honest here – it’s one of my love languages) and it’s so fun to shop for everyone in my life. But this year we decided to scale back on gifts and focus on quality over quantity. Instead of just getting gifts to cross them off a list, we want to be intentional!
For Our Daughter…
This is a list of everything that looks good to me and we will IN NO WAY be buying all of this. She’s not even one! But I want toys she can play with and not things that talk to her or entertain her. She loves blocks, Little People, and playing with stacking toys so far.
- This block set looks SO comprehensive and I love how versatile it is. And WOODEN not plastic. Yay!
- A tunnel – such a classic and can be played with forever.
- Need to talk to my husband but I love this mini chair. I don’t know if we would get it monogrammed because it would be able to be used with other kids, but I know a few people who have kids who are OBSESSED with these.
- I think she’s too young for a full play kitchen, but this shopping cart might be the perfect place to start.
My Christmas List
- This retinol alternative – all about the skincare game! Plus I’m wearing less and less makeup everyday so I’m trying to make my skin look good on it’s own. (I already sent this to my mom…I’m not subtle sometimes lol)
- Ok this might sound silly but I want a quality tunic! I’ve bought a lot of cheaper ones and end up returning them because they don’t lay right. So I’m loving all of these:
- There are a few random beauty splurges I love because they’re fun but not necessary – like this Oribe spray
- If anyone reading this has won the lottery and would like some options I would love a Chanel boy bag in black with gold hardware. Thanks.
Yes there are more people on my list than just my daughter BUT I don’t want to give anything away! I have some good ideas for people and I’m on the struggle bus for some other people……..so send me good shopping vibes. I’m actually going to do some Christmas shopping this morning!
What’s on your list this year?
