2019….you were the best year we’ve ever had!
I’ve said that every year I’ve done a yearly review but it’s SO TRUE this year. Guys I had a baby! It doesn’t get much bigger than that!
We’re home celebrating Christmas – late – with family so I wanted to throw up a quick post with some of my favorite moments of the year.
We had a baby girl and fell in LOVE
I shared some about our newborn phase here, but it really does get better every day. It was never “bad”, but you both learn what you’re doing and it is pure joy all the time.
Whenever people ask what surprised me about being a mom I say how fun it is. Really, it’s more fun than I ever imagined. I feel so much love for our daughter everyday and I’m so lucky to be home with her. Sure there are early mornings or rough times, but those don’t matter in the scheme of things.

I decided to stay home
And it was the best decision! I do work one morning a week (so my headline is a bit misleading sorry….) but being home works out so well for our entire family.
We spent our vacations with family – from Minnesota to New York
This year we spent every free moment traveling to see family! Living so far away is even harder with a baby who doesn’t see family often. So we made it a priority and tried to make it happen.
There were so many highlights off the blog, but here are some favorites I shared…
