With all this time at home I’ve been spending a lot of time on my skincare routine. Skin matters a lot when you’re not wearing any makeup 🙂 I have pretty dry skin – especially in the winter – so I’m about the hydration. I used to have bad breakouts but thank goodness I don’t anymore, so I don’t do anything specific for acne.
Here’s what I use morning and night –
Morning
Wash: Phytomer Perfect Visage
Vitamin C: Obagi 15%
Moisturizer: Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream (I skip this step in the summer because my sunscreen is moisturizing enough!)
Sunscreen: EltaMD
Night
Wash One: Clinique Cleansing Balm
Wash Two: Phytomer Perfect Visage
Microneedling – 3 times a week: GloPro
Retinol Alternative – every other night: Herbivore Botanicals Bakuchiol
Moisturizer: Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream
Eye Cream: Kiehl’s
There you have it – the steps I take each morning and night! It’s taken months of trial and error to find out what I like. I also have waited weeks to see if I like products before making any decisions. Skincare is about patience and you won’t see results overnight – but good habits will bring good results.
