I hope you had a fabulous 4th of July weekend. We spent it at the Lake and it was so fun. It’s the first full weekend my husband has been home which is fantastic – I am so happy all three of us are back together.
Today I wanted to share some random things to get back into the groove after this holiday weekend (and week, let’s be real lol).
Swimsuit: Hunza G // Shorts: Agolde (review here!)
My husband starts his new job today – yay! I am so excited for this next phase of our life. It feels so amazing to be out of residency and living this stage of life. I shared more about our journey here if you’re interested.
I just bought this sunscreen and this baby sunscreen. Honestly I’ve tried a bunch of mineral sunscreens that have NOT worked. As in I burn when I use them (minus the EltaMD I use on my face which is amazing). I also shared that I purchased ThinkBaby – but my daughter broke out in a HUGE rash when I used it on her! So that’s not going to get used again. But we are loving the Sun Bum so far and the smell is the best! Which is the main reason I bought it 🙂
I am so obsessed with these joggers I bought from Lululemon. They are SO SO flattering and easy to wear! They also don’t get super hot when I’m wearing them so I can wear them in the heat no problem. I got my standard Lulu size (a 6) and they fit great. Paired with this Target tank and you’ve got a cute outfit.
Lately I’ve been reading a lot instead of watching TV and it’s a welcome change. We only have a TV in our basement so it’s not as easy to just turn it on anymore. In the past two months I’ve read The Giver, Gone With The Wind, Collapse, and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. The library is reopening here soon and I can’t wait to get more books! Send me any book suggestions you have – I need to make a running list.
I’m also feeling burnt out with all my normal recipes. I think lots of us are feeling this way from so much cooking over the last few months. I’m going to try to branch out this week with some new recipes – like this chicken sandwich, salmon burgers and fish tacos. Again, send me your recipe ideas!
Well there you have it – a bunch of random things for this Monday! I hope you have a fantastic start to the week.
