Hi guys! It’s that time of year – the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
It’s a bit later than normal, and a bit smaller, but still worth shopping if you are so inclined. I know that a lot of people won’t be shopping it this year so *please* do not feel pressure to buy anything just because I recommend it. I know we are extremely lucky to have had minor financial impacts so far from COVID – so please don’t take this as pressure to buy buy buy.
If you’re a cardmember you can preview the sale today! Cardmembers can shop August 13 (some earlier) and the general public can shop on August 19. I’ve covered it before – 2019 try on, more 2019, 2018 – but know that items go FAST.
This year’s selection is definitely smaller than normal – I know that’s due to COVID! (When I was in store they told me) I’m also noticing less other brands and more Nordstrom brands, which has been the trend the last few years. But there are still good options if you need basics for fall – so here’s what I’m looking at:
For Myself
Basics are the name of the game this year! I also need to repurchase my favorite stud earrings that broke recently – so I have a few options in the carousel.
For My Daughter
A quality winter jacket like this one is at the top of my list for my daughter! We are going to have serious winter being back in Minnesota (compared to Kentucky) so I wanted to invest. I love walking in all temps so I want her to be comfortable. Also if I got her this Patagonia she would match my husband – he has the same thing!
