I’m deep in my second trimester and wanted to share the items that I’m loving this time around. (In case you missed it, pregnancy announcement here!) There are so many things you hear you might need for pregnancy, but in the spirit of “less is more” I’m cutting through the noise and sharing what I truly use day in and day out.
Hydroflask – so random but I LOVE cold water and basically only drink ice cold water when I’m pregnant. Hydration is important and this is so easy to bring in the car or just have around the house.
Lululemon Align Leggings – the true pregnancy outfit MVP! I love my Aligns all the time but I love them even more in pregnancy. They’re just as comfy as always and never make you feel tight or compressed. I still wear my normal size but I also bought a size up for my third trimester. I have three pairs and honestly they were worth every penny.
Nighttime Routine – this is silly but my nighttime skincare routine makes it so easy to unwind after a busy day. It might sound frivolous but you need “me” time when you’re a parent or parent-to-be.
Nespresso Half-Caf Pods – In my first trimesters I have a strong coffee aversion. But once that’s over I’m back to my love of coffee but I can’t tolerate as much caffeine as normal. So I love these half-caf pods from Nespresso that work in our Vertuo machine. I also love their decaf pods for afternoons when you just need that delicious drink.
Oversized Sweatshirts – athleisure and comfy clothes are my jam this winter! I bought an oversized sweatshirt from Aerie back in lockdown in May and I wear it multiple days a week. I also love this and this and this and this.
Maternity Tanks – I rely on long tank tops all the time and they are even more essential as my stomach gets bigger. I wear them under tops to make them longer and then I will layer two tanks to wear with a cardigan. These from Target are my favorite!
True & Co Bras – underwires get uncomfortable pretty fast, and these bras from True & Co are my ride or die. They are flattering and easy to wear all day!
