Mother’s Day 2021 Gift Guide

Mother’s Day is coming up! I can’t believe May is around the corner.

Today I wanted to share ten gifts (or types of gifts) that could work for your mom, mother-in-law, or mom friends.

one

Give the gift of relaxation with a gift card for a spa treatment! I love a good facial or massage – plus it’s time alone 🙂 My favorites in the Twin Cities are Spalon Montage or JUUT. Or if you have a mom who loves getting her hair done, maybe a Drybar gift card? They’re all locally owned!

two

Ok, this might seem offensive, but I love a clean house so I loved when my husband gave me a Dyson cordless vacuum haha. It makes cleaning up so much easier! I use it after every meal and it truly helps with all the random crumbs in our kitchen and dining room.

three

For that coffee lover, gift a Nespresso or Keurig. I love our Nespresso but if you want more traditional coffee, a Keurig is a great gift. Plus they come in small sizes and trendy styles!

four

Another life-changing gift would be a Shipt or Instacart membership. You can save time and effort by ordering from your home. And I’m convinced I’m actually saving money with Shipt without random Target trips and purchases. It’s the best for meal planning!

five

Sometimes it is fun to get a gift that requires time to think and reflect. This simple devotional has a page a day and can be used year after year. It takes a few minutes but it’s a great way to start the day.

I have a similar, but smaller, five year journal and love jotting down memories from the day, what I’m thinking, and milestones from our daughter. It’s so much easier than a huge journal! Plus it’s fun to see what you were thinking and doing in the previous years.

six

Something I love to unwind is taking a luxurious shower and doing a long skincare routing- it’s a nice way to get away without leaving my house 🙂 If your mom loves pampering what about a jade roller, facial steamer, or sheet mask?

seven

I love finding recipes on Pinterest as much as the next person, but nothing beats a physical cookbook. The Magnolia Table cookbook is my current favorite and would make an amazing gift! Throw in some adorable utensils for a complete gift.

eight

Juliska is my favorite brand for entertaining pieces. This platter would be great for any occasion and these glasses are great for outdoor entertaining.

nine

Clothes can be hard to give and pick out, but accessories aren’t! I love this Lululemon belt bag – it’s perfect for moms with young kids, or moms who love to do outdoor walks. I use mine all the time!

ten

I wrote a whole post about the LL Bean Bag that would make a great gift. Add a monogram to make it extra special.

and – an extra tip!

Support your local florists this year by buying straight from them instead of ProFlowers or another online company. We LOVE Flowers of Edina, and they do such great work. You can use this website to find a local florist!

I hope the ideas above are helpful! They are all over the place so there should be something for everyone. I hope it’s a great day no matter how you end up celebrating. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there – we rock!
