Hi friends!
In case you missed it, I recently had our second child and am soaking up alllll the newborn snuggles 🙂 It is going by TOO QUICKLY this time around!
The major change with newborn life this time versus kid 1 is that life doesn’t really slow down – we have a toddler *and* a newborn so I can’t just sit on the couch all day. That means I’m wearing clothes and leaving the house! So today I wanted to share some recent outfits and highlight some favorite pieces for this time of life.
Fav Pieces
- Lululemon All Yours top – fits *perfectly* oversized. I’m wearing my normal size, a 6, but could definitely size down if I wanted it to be a bit more fitted. I am waiting for it to be restocked in more colors! It’s so soft and flattering.
- Lele Sadoughi headbands – ok these aren’t new to me but headbands are seriously clutch right now. They make me look more “put together” with zero effort. They are also the only brand of headbands that stay on my head because they are thick and substantial (I have very very thick hair).
- Hill House dress – this is definitely more formal but it’s the easiest dress to wear when nursing. I can easily nurse with the smocking which means I’m wearing it a ton when I need something cuter. I want them to restock more colors because I will buy another color! It’s perfect for hot summer days. Plus it’s super flattering! FYI I would recommend sizing down because their sizing is generous and smocking is stretchy. I normally would wear a medium and had to exchange for a small.

I hope this helps show how you can still look cute/presentable in this weird time of dressing post-baby. I can’t wait to get back into some of my favorite jeans BUT I’m not guilting myself or letting myself get too down about this phase. Sure, some things are tighter and fit a bit differently but I just had a baby so there’s no reason to judge myself! I’m trying to enjoy wearing what I can and embracing this phase as much as possible 🙂
