It’s that time of year – the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
I think this sale can get a bit over-hyped on social media. Here’s what it is: a way to get new fall items or great basics at discounted prices. Instead of waiting til *after* the season is over you can have the items before. For me I use it as a way to get new pieces for fall and restock on basics. I’ve shopped it for years and years because Nordstrom is my favorite department store!
Plus, the real reason it gets so much attention on social media is affiliate marketing and commissions 🙂 Full transparency – I get a percentage of sales when you buy an item you found on my blog. This is how almost all blogs work! So it’s completely normal and these sales can be BIG drivers of income for full time influencers. We’re talking tens of thousands of dollars in income. Major bloggers can drive MILLIONS in sales for this event. So now you know why it gets this much attention 🙂 It’s the equivalent of Black Friday shopping for some people!
Ok back to my picks! This year I have some fun fall items and then I’m really focusing on everyday essentials. You’ll see what I mean below!
- I love this light pink hat! It would be perfect for everyday. I love this more affordable version too.
- I need to replace some worn out PJs – will be snagging at least one of this classic Nordstrom pair.
- Another glamorous purchase is some new underwear. I told you, basics 🙂
- These jeans have been in my Nordstrom wish list for months so I’m SO EXCITED they are included in the sale!!!
- Might snag this fun pink sports bra because it’s so cute!
- Bike shorts are a wear now and later essential
- I love love love this dress!!! I love the camel color!
