Some days it just seems like all we do is purchase items on Amazon or at Target…I really try to cut down on impulse spending but there are some things we have to get. Like stroller fans because it’s getting hot here (it’s already been in the 90s!) and I want to keep doing walks. And snack cups because I am sick of lugging tupperware around. Anyways, these posts are a fun way to share a snapshot of life right now and what I’ve purchased recently. Let’s get to it!
For a fun purchase, I just got this dress from Dillards. I ordered in January as a pre-order and it was delivered a few weeks ago. It is so girly and fun and *so* flattering! I’m going to wear it for Easter and then a baby shower I’m hosting. It has very thick fabric – not hot, just high quality! – and a TON of detailing. I’m obsessed.
Other things I purchased for myself in the last month are my everyday facial sunscreen. It’s so convenient that they sell it on Amazon now. I also had to repurchase my Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream that I use twice a day. I get the biggest size but I still have to buy at least twice a year.
And for the kids…lots this month! I got two of these stroller fans. I hope they have decent battery life! I also got more bike shorts for underneath dresses and just as shorts. I got this swimsuit for baby brother and it fits super well – highly recommend! These collapsible snack cups were another thing I got this month and we have used them so much with restaurant trips or events away from home. And since we’ve been spending a lot of time outside I got more of our favorite sunscreen and sunscreen stick. Sun Bum is the smell of summer for me.
I also got this Folex stain remover pictured above. We have our new carpet upstairs and I want to keep it as clean as possible. Mainly the culprit has been me drinking coffee and causing stains (: Anyways, I hope this works well!
Lastly we got some more sound machines – as if we didn’t have enough! Our daughter’s sound machine broke a while ago and we were using a portable one, but that started to die as well. So I repurchased our favorite Hatch sound machine for her. It gets so loud and is truly the best at droning out background noise! For us we got this Dohm machine. It’s nowhere near as loud so I wouldn’t recommend it for kids because it won’t hide any noises outside their room. It’s like a loud fan which is perfect for what we want!
Ok *actually* last – my husband got me a Dyson Airwrap for my birthday and I’m OBSESSED!!!!!!! There is definitely a learning curve but I’m loving it so far. I will write a full review after I’ve had it for a while. I told him about it months ago and he finally saw it come in stock.
