Just checking in with some shopping reality and recent purchases I’ve made. I know I share a lot of wishlists – like this! gosh J.Crew is amazing lately – but I’m just going to share what really ends up getting purchased over here.
One – More MAGNA-TILES
I don’t know what changed but all of a sudden my kids are playing with our MAGNA-TILES all.day.long. I kid you not, they have not touched another toy in our playroom/family room in weeks! So I decided to order another set because they get frustrated when I split the tiles and they can’t build huge things. Maybe I’m an enabler but I figure it’s a good thing to have more pieces to build! We also love this set with animals and this set with cars.
Two – A New Stanley
I like my huge 40oz Stanley but it’s really not that convenient to lug around…and a few of my friends have the 30oz flip straw version. I finally ordered it and it is SO MUCH better than the larger size. I’m considering selling my 40oz on Poshmark because I’m not using it anymore!
Three – Another Pair of Birkenstocks
If there’s one pair of shoes I wear virtually everyday, it’s my Birkenstocks. So I snagged another pair in this brown leather!
Four – Two Tops from Sezane
I’m working on adding missing pieces to my wardrobe so I got this classic white t-shirt and this striped pullover. Obviously the white shirt works year round but I could wear the sweater even with shorts in late October here! (It’s freakishly warm until Thanksgiving…) I have heard such amazing things about the quality of Sezane for the price so I’m excited to finally try it out.
Five – Classic Flats
I am so happy that flats are back in style. I’ve never stopped wearing them but the pairs I’ve had have finally all fallen apart. After contemplating for months I finally decided to order this classic flat from Margaux. I can give a more detailed review after owning them for a while because they aren’t cheap. But honestly I’m over fast fashion or shoes that last for a season and then get worn out. I want to invest in classics I can wear year after year. So these shoes are a great addition to my closet!
