Top Toys for my Preschoolers!

As my kids spend more time playing by themselves (thank you Jesus!) it’s clear to me what their favorite toys are. So today I wanted to share our four favorite toys that get played with everyday! Most are quiet and all are technology free, which is a win 🙂

Play

If you don’t have a Tonies Box I would add it to your Christmas list! My kids are obsessed with theirs and listen all day, everyday. Their favorite Tonies characters are Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and the Creative Tonies where people can record stories. I don’t think people are as aware of the Creative Tonies but they are awesome if you live away from family! My parents record things to the Tonie on the app on their phone, and my husband does too when he is traveling. My kids love checking daily for new stories!

Lately my kids have been obsessed with Magna-Tiles. They play with them constantly! They weren’t a favorite for a few months and something changed and they are playing with them all day. I know they aren’t the cheapest toy but our cost per use is super low at this point. This is a great starter set and we also have these animals, these cars, and just another set of tiles.

Reading & Drawing

Santa brought these Water Coloring Books and my kids use them much more than I expected. I leave them out on their play table with a small bowl of water so they can play without asking. They would be great for a restaurant too! Plus they are completely quiet 🙂

Another huge daily hit are our Melissa & Doug Puffy Stickers – I even have some in the car! I would note they are small and are choking hazards (literal puffy stickers) so I didn’t let my son use them in the car until recently. And I never let him play with them util I was confident he wouldn’t eat them so probably close to 20 months. But now that my kids are older they are such a great toy! The stick doesn’t last forever but it does last for a long time, depending on use.
