Another year, another list of home projects!
I’m excited about what we have on this list – but quickly, let’s look back a year. Here’s my 203 list. We got one of the items done, a new fence! And it has truly transformed our backyard. The paint and flooring didn’t happen and I don’t even think they will make the list this year – keep reading to see what is on my list.
Ok here’s what I do hope to accomplish this year!
- Our Primary Bedroom update as described in this post from earlier in the week. I think this will be the first project because we will be ordering the furniture and bed this week.
- Updating both upstairs bathroom – new paint, fixtures, vanities, lighting, and mirrors. You can see some of my inspiration in this post from 2022.
- Removing two of our four raised beds. This is going to be a BEAST of a project and I’m hoping one of our friends can help. He also wanted the dirt so maybe we can move the dirt to his house (in a trailer obviously). They just take up too much of the flat space in our yard and I would love to have that prime real estate back for the kids. It is also in a full sun area of the yard so it isn’t ideal for growing anyways.
- Adding more color to our home with a new rug (like this) in our dining room.
- Finishing things I have wanted to do like a plate wall in our playroom! I just need to order plates – I love these.
- Estimate to repaint our kitchen cabinets. I think getting an estimate is doable and getting our kitchen cabinets repainted would be transformational – the paint is peeling pretty badly.
