I am SO happy to be out of the rain! It was raining constantly in St Louis so it’s super nice to be back in the sun. I felt instantly happy the second we got north of the rainy weather. Grey skies for weeks are so depressing and really limits what you can do. Plus we’ve gone back in time in MN so it’s like experiencing Spring all again! The trees are budding and the flowering trees are out in force.
I also was excited to wear my favorite Free People Top again – this time with shorts! It’s one of my best purchases of the year and I had to stop myself from wearing it for a few weeks. I was a serial outfit repeater pretty quickly. Well now since I can wear shorts it feels totally different! I have it paired with my favorite utility vest here – which is a great lighter layer. I love that vest so much that I even have a whole post on it – really!
As much as I love the idea of shorts I hadn’t found a great distressed pair until I got these ones. All the ones I tried were either too tight or too short. Finding the correct-fitting pair of shorts is no small task! Plus This pair is a great option as well – they look like they should be a great length.
