A long holiday weekend is on the horizon – and I’m so excited for those 4 days! My company decided to give everyone the day off on the 3rd which totally rocks. Unfortunately my husband has to work the afternoons of Saturday thru Monday, but I’m sure I will find something fun to pass the time! Since it’s the 4th I wanted to share some outfit inspiration for this fun holiday. Stripes, red, gingham – all are so perfect for the 4th!
When we’re back in MN I love going to the lake for the 4th. It’s a day outside with friends and family and a time to just hang out. Unfortunately we have insane mosquitoes but it’s pretty perfect besides that! Nothing beats a day at the lake.

Hopefully the weather cooperates next week – the 10 day forecast looks good right now, but you never know. I’m excited for the long weekend and hopefully to explore more of Lexington!
