One of my favorite parts of changing seasons is breaking out home decor! It was fun to go through it all when we packed up and moved, and I went into the fall decor as soon as it was appropriate 🙂 I had some indoor decor – pretty minimal – and now that we have a porch I wanted to decorate that too.
Our house is still fairly neutral but I’m excited to use seasonal decor to spice it up. If you’ve followed along on Instagram (@helen.loves) or previous decor posts you might have noticed that my house is pretty neutral. I don’t have a ton of color or “things” – which makes it the perfect canvas for seasonal decorating. Plus everyone who comes to our house talks about how fun it will be to decorate for the holidays. We have a tall entryway and big staircase – prime locations for decorating! So here’s some fall inspiration for you!
For Outside
One word: mums! Mums are the perennial fall favorite and look good on any porch or front step. Oh and pumpkins. I guess we can include those too. Both will look great outside your home! Here are some outdoor areas I’m loving:

For Inside
Ok going inside – fall is a fun time to do some great tablescapes! (I’m getting a spell check alert for that word, but it’s definitely a word – or should be one) I feel like I need to plan a fall event so I can recreate all of this at home. I’m definitely going to be getting some mini-pumpkins for inside and putting those around! Here are some more ideas I’m loving:

I don’t know if I would ever go as overboard as this post, but it looks so good! It’s excessive fall to be sure but I love all the layers and texture.
Are you guys doing anything to decorate for fall? It does feel a little funny decorating when it’s been in the 80s this week, but that’s not going to stop me now! Plus it’s officially fall so I don’t even need a reason to decorate anymore.
