There a few things I own that my husband thinks are ridiculous. My hunter boots (he calls them my “old man shoes”), a massive faux-fur vest (coming to the blog soon!), and my blanket scarves. He thinks it’s insane how huge they are – some of them are as big as a twin sheet! So today I’m going to share my favorite blanket scarf and – of course – include a bunch of other cute ones!
Scarves are the quintessential fall accessory. Add them to any outfit and it looks 100% fall! Wear a plain black dress – like this one! – add a scarf and a sweater and it’s a new outfit.

I love scarves because they can make any outfit look like a new one. Worn a striped shirt and jeans before? Add a scarf and it looks like a totally different look! This is especially great for work – take an outfit you wore in the summer, add a sweater, a scarf, and you’re good to go. See what I mean with the pictures below? I bought this plaid scarf two years ago and have worn it WAY more than I expected. It’s soft, the perfect plaid, and goes with so much. You can definitely say I’m addicted!

Doesn’t this outfit look like fall? Oh and the bright red and orange trees behind me help! When we were taking these photos (this is at an office park near us) there was a motorcycle driving around like crazy. He was obviously gunning it on these back roads where there’s no one in the way – except us! Needless to say it was fun to watch him fly by (but confirms why I will never get on a motorcycle and my husband will never own one).
This post really has a ton of photos but there were so many good ones I wanted to share! I love this outfit and it’s honestly something I wear all the time – so I’m glad the photos turned out. We’re not pros over here so sometimes if it’s too dark, windy, etc the photos can be less than perfect. Props to my husband for rocking it with these ones!
