I honestly can’t believe it’s Thanksgiving…where is this year going?! I know I can’t be the only one that thinks that!
Today’s post won’t be too long because I hope everyone is enjoying the day with family or friends! We’re going to be spending the day just the two of us – which is so weird. We’ve always gone home for holidays so it’s so odd to not be in a crowd of people. Since we can’t be with our families I’m excited to create our own traditions and have a holiday just the two of us. I know it won’t be the same but it will be special in another way!
Trust me, I’m trying to make it a normal Thanksgiving by making my ALL TIME FAVORITE food. Stuffing!!!! I look forward to my grandma’s stuffing all year and I hope the batch I made turns out – fingers crossed. Also I’m excited to make a turkey for the first time – if it fails miserably it’s just the two of us. Low bar if you ask me!
This year has been so busy – and I know I’ve said it before – but it’s insane where it has taken us. So today I’m just thankful for the people in my life and our relationships. The photos above are from a day in the Red River Gorge and then a day out shooting this look. I’m so lucky to have people in my life that support me and my interests – aka the blog.
So today I’m excited to hang out with my husband and eat all the yummy food I can make! Hopefully he doesn’t sleep the whole day away and is ready to eat when he gets up – thank you night shifts.
