Happy Monday everyone! How was your weekend? We spent the weekend in Cincinnati with friends which was really fun. It was fun to go somewhere different and try new restaurants, etc!
Plus it’s fun to explore new places and get out of the ordinary every once and a while. I love sitting on the couch as much as the next person, but sometimes you have to fight the urge to be lazy and go adventure. Oh and Top Golf – so amazing! I get the hype now and it was a fun activity for a group. I definitely want to go sometime when we’re back in Minneapolis! Have you guys ever been? I HIGHLY recommend checking one out!
Today I wanted to share a festive and easy outfit. All of these pieces can be worn in so many ways so it’s not just one big trend. Plus you already know I’m obsessed with scarves so what else did you expect for all my cold weather outfits?! I also wear this cable sweater all the time – it’s cute with leggings (like here) and jeans. It’s the perfect amount of warm without being too hot!

Isn’t this outfit so easy to put together? It has interest without being too trendy or anything. I wear outfits like this all the time on the weekend – and I know I’ll continue with these cool temps. Also, I got my LL Bean boots two years ago as a Christmas present and they are the BEST winter boots! They’re shearling lined so my feet stay super warm. Definitely a great option if you live in cooler temps (they’re almost too warm for Lex).
Also I’ve worn this vest so much more than I thought I would. I didn’t think it would be as popular in my wardrobe as it has been! Another Old Navy pick I still wear constantly is my Old Navy purse. I get asked where I got it ALL the time (people even asked me this weekend in Cincy!). It looks more expensive than it is and has held up well for the 2 years I’ve had it. It’s the perfect size for my phone, wallet, and some makeup. Aka the perfect crossbody!
Counting down the workdays until Christmas over here – only 10 more days! (if you count today…) I can’t wait to be back in MN for 10 days. It does really make me realize how much I need to get my Christmas shopping under control…let’s just say that I haven’t done any shopping since Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Gah! I need to really get it into gear!
