my thoughts on the glopro

If you follow me on Instagram you’ve probably heard me talk about the GloPro – and today I wanted to give a full review!

I mentioned the GloPro a bit in my winter skincare post, but since I’ve been using it consistently for 2 months I wanted to do a more full review. Here we go!

Pros

This is going to sound silly, but my skin does look “glowy” the morning after I use it! I can tell that my serums and lotions sink in deeper! I’m being honest when I say I can tell a difference between the mornings I used it, and the ones where I didn’t. I also think it has helped with the appearance of some lines that were appearing in my forehead. The might be because my skin is more moisturized (so you don’t see as many lines) but that works for me!

Also I think using the GloPro makes my Argan Oil more potent – which is always a plus for something that’s pricey. The same amount of oil moisturizes my skin more when I apply it after using the GloPro.

Using the GloPro 3 nights a week has made a difference – not right away, but 2 months in I think my skin looks more hydrated than it normally did. So this is definitely going to stay in my routine!

Cons

Cost – this thing isn’t cheap! And you do have to buy replacement heads because the needles don’t last forever. You also have to be sure to sterilize it each time – which is easy, but you do need to remember it.

I wouldn’t recommend the GloPro if you have any active breakouts. Using the GloPro can actually spread bacteria so don’t use it if you have acne. Just a heads up!

My overall takeaways are positive and I’m so happy I’ve started using it! Also, I heard a really interesting note from a blogger I follow who uses it also. $200 is an expensive up-front price, but starting to keep your skin looking young will be cheaper in the long run. Not the worst reasoning I’ve ever heard!

Let me know if you have any questions – I would be happy to answer them!
