When the weather warms up I LOVE wearing casual dresses to work and on the weekends.
Dresses are easy to throw on, comfy to wear, and can easily go from day to night. So of course I spotted this dress on a recent trip to Target and it magically made it home with me! And maybe I’ll finally be able to wear dresses without tights consistently – I can’t believe I was actually wearing tights last week at this time….thank you insane weather. BUT it will eventually get warmer and then it’s time for all your light summer dresses!

I’m not a big shorts fan so dresses are my go-to in the spring and summer. I love how easy they are to throw on whenever you need to go to dinner or a special event. You can’t beat the simplicity of one piece of clothing! The fabric is soft and stretchy – which is perfect for this swingy dress. I got a medium because the small was a bit too clingy, and I wanted it to be more flowy. Plus the medium makes it a bit longer!
It’s hard to pass up all the good items at Target these days – I’ve shared a lot of recent posts with my finds (like this !). I’m loving all the new pieces showing up for A New Day and Universal Thread, and their accessories are awesome too. It makes going into Target even more dangerous!
This week is shaping up to be a good one because my parents and younger brother get here Friday!!! We are going to Keeneland, then doing a tour at Buffalo Trace, and enjoying time together. So I really want Friday to get here – I’ll be cleaning, organizing, and prepping the nights before they get here. Yay!
