Here you have it – the $18 dress from Prime I’ve talked about on Instagram!
I’ve been doing a lot of shopping for our upcoming Hawaii trip, and wanted a super casual dress I could wear as a coverup or really casual outfit. Enter this $18 dress. It comes in a bunch of colors and I don’t have to wear it forever to justify buying it!
Here are my impressions – first, it’s the quality you would expect from a dress this price point. It’s definitely more Forever 21 than Nordstrom! And that’s totally fine because it’s what I wanted. I wanted a dress I could wear to the beach and get wet without worrying about ruining it.

As you can tell from these photos, the dress is also pretty short. It’s not something I would wear to work or church or anywhere nice at all! It’s just too short for my comfort level, so I’m going to stick to beaches and vacation 🙂 Or casual weekend errands – but nothing where you need to look super presentable.
A big bonus for this price is that the buttons are functional! I would keep them all buttoned personally, but you could unbutton the bottom button if you wanted to. But just a nice feature and you can’t always tell from the descriptions.
Amazon is such a mainstay in our house, and finding clothes does take some digging – not going to lie. So I’ll continue to share anything I find with you because the convenience can’t be beat! I think I’ll stick to my favorite places like Nordstrom for designer brands, but for these “fast fashion” styles, Amazon is a great place to look. And you can’t beat Prime shipping!
