The temps have been cooling off so it’s time for your fall outerwear!
I love layers (something I know I’ve mentioned before!) so I love being able to break out some extra fun pieces. These outerwear pieces aren’t going to be for extreme cold or rain, but you can basically wear them all fall anyways. So I just wanted to round up some favorites and showcase them again for those of you that are new around here. Here are my top 5 fall outerwear picks!
Madewell Jean Jacket
I’ve worn this jacket a million times. It has been one of my best investments ever! Don’t hesitate if you’ve been eyeing it because I wear it all fall, spring and summer. You will wear it all.the.time. Trust me!
Blank NYC Suede Moto Jacket
Another jacket I’m psyched to wear again. Last year I didn’t get to wear it much because of weird temps (I probably am too paranoid about not wearing it in the rain….?). But I’m already planning where I’m going to wear it this year! Date nights, interview dinners, Keeneland if the temps cool down – the possibilities are endless. Get one for yourself!
Old Navy Utility Jacket
So this photo is from a spring post but I wear this jacket constantly. I wear it to work (super cute with a T shirt and jeans!) and then when I’m running errands on the weekend. You can’t really dress it up that much but it’s super versatile for day to day wear. And be sure to get it when it’s on sale for a definite deal! (AKA all the time at Old Navy)
Old Navy Quilted Vest
Another super versatile and affordable piece. I picked up this vest last fall and wore it to work so much. I definitely wore it as outerwear in the fall but then I also wore it all winter over shirts, sweaters, and dresses.
Camo Jacket – similar, similar
So I got this exact version on super clearance at Abercrombie in the Spring and have waited all summer to wear it! Camo is SO popular for fall and I’ve worn this jacket at least one day in the past few weeks. If you’re new to camo – or hesitant about it – I would suggest getting a shirt (like this or this) for a more subtle option you can wear under a sweater, etc, before diving in to a jacket.
I may be ignoring the forecast for this week (in the 80s….) when writing this post but whatever. I’m excited for fall and no one can stop me! Plus I’ve got a quick trip coming up and the temps are MUCH cooler where I’m going. I hope you have a great start to the week! See you back here Wednesday!
