Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday!
In this crazy time I want to do some real “blog” style posts – just chatting and maybe sharing some pictures. This is a spot for me to share my thoughts and I’m sure I’ll look back on it in the future.
I just finished my CENTURY RIDE on my Peloton and it feels amazing to have accomplished that. I set it as a goal to get to 100 before May and I did it 3 weeks early! The best feeling! There aren’t going to be any more live rides until May so I’ll be sticking with older ones. I’m going to follow some of the rides my mom is doing for her Powerzone challenge. This week is Holy Week and it feels so odd. No church (in person). We haven’t been around family the past few years for Easter anyways so that’s not new – but it’s just a weird feeling. I know you all know what I mean. But we are going to put on cute outfits, use our kate spade china, and I’m making the best boxed cake from Williams Sonoma.
Over the weekend I made an inventory of everything we have in our freezers and some meal ideas from them. Besides fresh vegetables I should be good without buying meat or pantry staples for a long while! It feels good to know what I have. I need to reference this when I run out of meal ideas.
I’ve been craving a “fun” drink in the afternoons so I’ve been making homemade iced coffee or iced tea. Basically I make coffee or tea and let it cool in my fridge for an hour before drinking 🙂 Super easy and no need to leave the house to hit the Starbucks or Chik-fil-A drive thru!
