Random – are you guys loving the new Reels videos on Instagram? I am! It’s a fun way to see a quick snapshot of something that’s not fully “produced.” I shared one over the weekend with everyday skincare – and I’m going to be posting one too for this post…what I do everyday!
I love seeing random snapshots of someone’s day (hello blogging in general) so I’m doing that today with you all. Here we go!
Make My Bed
Making your bed every morning is a game changer. I feel more put together just by this simple action. Plus my room looks way way better! (Duh)
Skincare Morning & Evening
I’ve decided that 2020 is the year of skincare for me. Beyond the skin benefits it also is a great way to start and end the day. My current routine is as follows: facewash, vitamin c (AM), hyaluronic acid serum, moisturizer, sunscreen (AM)
Drink coffee
I am a coffee addict – no shame. The BEST at home coffee is Nespresso (in my opinion). We have a Vertuoline and I’m obsessed. It’s like having Starbucks everyday! My favorite flavors are Stormio and Odacio – dark and creamy 🙂
Get Outside (ideally!)
Ok so this doesn’t happen everyday – basically the only reason I won’t go outside is if it’s raining all day. But if it’s not raining I make it a point to get outside even if it’s just for a few minutes. There’s something that clears your mind and stress going for a walk! I love our neighborhood because we can walk to so many parks or on a bunch of nearby paths. It’s such a great way to spend time together with friends and family!
Read
I have been reading way more this year and I love it. It’s such a great way to unwind and not waste time on TV (I don’t have any shows right now…). I’m currently reading The Splendid and The Vile which I highly recommend. Next on my list is Countdown 1945.
What things do you guys do everyday? Anything that you can’t live without? I’m firmly in the “routine is best” camp so I love sticking to what makes me happy. Sounds silly but everything above adds to my health, happiness and helps with stress relief. Especially in this stressful year (understatement I think…) we need to stick to what keeps us healthy! Here’s to a great week everyone!
