Happy Labor Day weekend!
As we start this holiday weekend that signals the end of summer and start of fall, I want to share some items on my “list” for this new season.
We have been meaning to head to the Zoo but I keep forgetting to book tickets (you have to do it in advance!) – so I want to get to the Minnesota Zoo this season. Schools are back in session, and even if they’re remote I think the Zoo will be quiet. Plus they are limiting numbers so I’m excited to check it out! We are obsessed with animals and animals noises these days, so I think my daughter would love it.
Next is I want to go Apple Picking or just spend some time at an orchard. I don’t think we can do much apple picking with a toddler but I would love to drive out and spend a morning outside. Plus I want to get some Honeycrisps – the BEST apples ever.
We’ve been spending a lot of time visiting new parks so I’m hoping we can go to a new park for a hike or just some time exploring. If you have any parks we need to visit around the Twin Cities leave a comment and let me know!
I also want to get out to the Arboretum when the leaves are turning. It’s such a great place to walk and I love that they are limiting crowds. It can get INSANE on nice days, so these limited capacity rules are honestly a huge bonus.
This isn’t the longest list but I’m trying to keep our booked time to a minimum. Fun things still come up and I don’t want to have “something” every day of the week! So these are the high-level things I definitely want to do this fall and am excited to plan. If you have anything else we should do as a family this fall please let me know in the comments. Have a great day!
