I used to think that having too many personal photos in main living areas was a sign of bad decorating….boy was I wrong!!!
It’s true that I don’t love super informal photos in very public areas. I keep those fun, more personal snapshots for bedrooms or hallways. But I do love displaying professional photos in the public areas of our house.
Recently I had some new “professional” photos to add to the wall: some silhouettes from Minted. They were under $40 each and are such a fun and special addition to our family room. They capture my children at the age and adorableness they are right now – 1 and 3.5. I love their sweet profiles and I love that I can see the silhouettes all the time!
I removed their names in the close photo – in the smaller photo you can see that their names are underneath the silhouettes.
