It’s easier said than done BUT I feel so much better when I do these 3 things! It might not be my best workout but I’m getting it done. And not always gourmet meals but prioritizing protein and fruits and vegetables. And of course adding a cute outfit makes the day 🙌🏻

Plus these dresses are truly my favorites to wear when I’m with the kids because they’re so comfortable but still look cute. I wish I could wear a shorter style but 1) I’m tall and 2) kids and bending over and helping just makes that stressful 🫠

Want to know if this was a normal day? YES it was!

Sometimes you might wonder if people add things to vlogs - can assure you I didn’t! Also the most interesting parts of my days were not filmed LOL. Like…

- play date with friends ❤️
- Trying to workout and being interrupted every 3 minutes
- Shattering an entire glass bowl in my dishwasher 🤬🤬🤬 that was fun to clean guys. Deep breaths.

ALSO - I love filming these vlogs but so much of my day is with my kids (and I don’t want them on here) so there’s a lot I can’t show. It’s funny talking about mom life without showing what my kids are doing. And even though not many people follow me in the scheme of things, I still just don’t want their information out there. There are SO many varying opinions on featuring kids on social media, but that’s where I am. Not featuring them is what I’m comfortable with!

I can’t believe we have less than a month left o

I can’t believe we have less than a month left of summer! We’ve had such good trips and great lazy days at home. Lake Tahoe was a trip we will really remember forever - probably the most fun trip we’ve ever had as a family! This summer has been WAAYYY cooler at home than the last two summers so that makes it so much more enjoyable 🙌🏻

I’m excited for another trip, more pool days, and chill mornings at home before we have real school. We are early risers but I know it’s going to require more coordination to get out the door 😆 It’s crazy to have a kindergartner all of a sudden. She feels so big and old as I look at her uniforms and school supplies!

We still have a few things left on our summer bucket list - what’s left on yours???

I CANNOT COUNT how many times people have told me

I CANNOT COUNT how many times people have told me “just get crappy furniture because your kids will destroy it anyways”

No! No thanks! Yes accidents happen but no I don’t allow my kids to intentionally destroy furniture or toys or anything for that matter.

We have a mix of Ikea and Pottery Barn and Ballard Designs. As our Ikea furniture dies (going on a decade and 4 moves!!!) we are getting pieces that are higher quality. And I’m ok setting rules and limits on what my kids can do 😆

So I’m here to say decorate how you want. Have the furniture you want. YES things break but I also occasionally break things (plates whoops) so you can’t prevent everything LOL.
